| Dr Doan Van Binh is a researcher at Kyoto University, Japan. He got his master degree in Environmental and Hydraulic Engineering at Saitama University, Japan and doctoral degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Management at Kyoto University, Japan. Dr Binh has a great interest in quantifying the effects of dams on the flow regime, sediment, morphology, and salinity intrusion, especially in the Mekong River basin. He is specialized in hydro-sediment-morpho dynamic numerical modelling in the tidal river system. He is also experienced in using various apparatus in physical modelling and field surveys. | |
