Project Meetings and Seminars

A series of online meetings and seminar workshop are being organized.

1. Kick-off Meeting

The kick-off meeting was conducted online during the first month (October 2020), and collaborators from Japan, the Philippines, and Vietnam, as well as the APN-Project Secretariat, participated to provide insights into project targets and expected deliverables.

2. Progress monitoring Workshop Meeting (20 November 2021)

On November 20, 2021, an online one-day workshop was conducted to present project outputs and monitor project progress. The various research outputs have been presented, and progress has been discussed separately from Japan, Vietnam, and the Philippines counterparts.

3. Seminar-Workshop on Integrated Water, Flood and Sediment Management in Cagayan River Basin for Sustainable Development

The Cagayan Valley Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development Consortium (CVIEERDEC) in collaboration with Cagayan State University, Isabela State University, Cagayan River Basin Management Council, and DOST-R02 conducted a virtual “Seminar-Workshop on Integrated Water, Flood and Sediment Management in Cagayan River Basin for Sustainable Development” with the theme: Shaping our Water Future in Cagayan River Basin: Science, Practice and Policy for Sustainability and Resilience on July 23, 2021, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

his seminar workshop was aimed to enhance the knowledge and capacities of managers, researchers, and practitioners on integrated water resources, flood and sedimentation management through knowledge-sharing principles, practices, and flans in the Cagayan River Basin.
