| Engr. Carlo is working as the Acting Division Manager A of the National Irrigation Administration Magat River Integrated Irrigation System, Dam and Reservoir Division. Before this, he has appointed as Principal Engineer C and acted as the Section Chief of the Flood Forecasting and Instrumentation Section. He received his Master’s Degrees in Public Administration and Agricultural Engineering (on-going) in Isabela State University, Philippines. His major focuses on land and water resources engineering which encompasses land and water utilization and conservation applicable to local and global situations. His work experience in NIA MARIIS DRD includes implementing plans and programs on erosion control and reforestation of the Magat watershed, employing sustainable use of resources by conserving water to be diverted to the service area of Magat Dam, and supervises dam discharge operation during extreme weather events. He has been involved in research projects that develop innovative approaches and techniques in integrated flood, sediment, and water resources management for sustainable development in ASEAN river basins. | |
